Payroll Operations Manager

Responsibilities:


Regional Coordination

  • Preparation and Delivery of Monthly Stakeholder Service review meetings
  • Coordination of regional activity, such as Merit, Bonus and ad-hoc projects
  • Managing payroll driven initiatives and problem solving when issues arise

People/Team Management

  • Weekly 1-2-1s with country managers
  • Problem solving and working through escalations
  • Time/Workload management
  • Quarterly Check ins and Annual Reviews
  • Gol setting and monitoring
  • Recruitment/Staffing
  • Team motivations
  • Weekly Team Meetings
  • Identify and/or manage improvement implementations

Vendor Management

  • Checking SLAs from vendors and internal metrics
  • Manage Open Items logs with vendors
  • Participate in bi-weekly steering committee meetings
  • Maintain relationship with counterparts in vendor
  • Identify and/or manage improvement implementations
Requirements:
  • Operations management experience is a must
  • Payroll knowledge and experience is an advantage
  • Experience in managing people
  • Excellent communication skills; strong English language
  • Strong process and procedure orientation
  • Demonstrated drive for excellence in operational support and customer service
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Organizational skills, flexibility
